Alexandra Daniels, LPC, LPCA
As someone who’s been both the client and counselor, I know how difficult it can be to ask for help. I believe everybody has a story worth telling and I am here to listen.
Along with experience treating a number of common concerns – anxiety, career counseling, depression, self-esteem issues, stress, trauma, etc – I specialize in helping clients navigate grief and loss. I also pride myself on being a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Counseling should be a collaborative process, and together we’ll find the right approach to fit your needs, whether it be CBT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative, etc.
The narrative approach, for example, tells us that each individual is the expert on their own life. You’re the main character, and with that role comes unforeseen plot twists & turns, as well as the opportunity to edit out unhealthy habits, process past chapters, and start new ones. In short: there’s power in embracing the unwritten story, especially when you hold the pen.
Alexandra sees clients through telehealth only at this time.
