Celeste Morgan, Counseling Intern
My passion is to offer support to those who feel weighed down by the burdens of life, relationship struggles, fear, anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges. I believe that everyone can find wholeness and be successful in their lives when provided with encouragement and tools they can realistically utilize. I will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you reach your goals. My primary treatment approaches are Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Having benefited from prioritizing mental health for myself after battling anxiety and depression over many years, I decided that pursuing a graduate degree in counseling was something I was feeling led to do. Looking back, I see how going to counseling changed the trajectory of my life and I utilized professionals who helped me to not only find new ways to cope, but learn how to truly live my life to the fullest. I am now completing a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development at Lindsey Wilson College and am currently under the clinical supervision of Meredith Thomas, LPCC-S, CEDS-S.
I began my career as an intervention teacher after completing my Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education at Cincinnati Christian University and taught piano lessons for more than 15 years. I am married with three children.
Celeste is under the supervision of Meredith Thomas, LPCC-S, CEDS-S who oversees all client cases, including reading and signing all therapeutic documentation.
