Abigail Newland, CT

Abigail brings a calm, thoughtful presence to her work and is committed to creating a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported throughout their healing process. She is especially passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they face the unique emotional and developmental challenges that come with this transitional time. Her clinical areas of focus include anxiety-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
Using evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals, Abigail is particularly drawn to helping individuals work through their challenges with support and understanding. She has a strong foundation in clinical theory and a deep interest in how people build resilience and self-awareness. She approaches therapy with authenticity, compassion, and a collaborative spirit.
Abigail is completing her clinical training as a Counselor Trainee (CT) at Creekside Therapy Center under the supervision of Meredith Thomas (LPCC-S, CEDS-C) and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University.
Abigail provides therapy both virtually and in the Anderson office.
