Josie Hyden, MSW, LSW

I am passionate about helping individuals prioritize their mental health and believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to focus on their well-being. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work through life’s challenges. I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
With personal experience in managing anxiety, depression, and trauma, I understand the importance of self-care and mental health. I am committed to helping others find their strength and build effective coping skills for life’s ups and downs. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that supports the processing of painful or “stuck” experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming in the present. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, guided by what feels safe and meaningful for you.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Northern Kentucky University, and I am a licensed social worker. I currently provide therapy in our Anderson location and also offer secure telehealth appointments. I accept private pay, Anthem, and Caresource Medicaid.
