Miranda Brown, LISW

I’m Miranda Brown, a licensed independent social worker with a passion for helping individuals and couples find clarity, connection, and emotional freedom. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, people-pleasing tendencies, emotional monitoring (the habit of constantly scanning and adjusting to others’ emotions), and attachment-based challenges.

My approach is holistic, integrating the mind, body, and relational self. I believe therapy should be a safe and affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and gently guided toward lasting change. My style is soft, intuitive, and supportive—balancing insight and emotional exploration with practical tools that empower you to live more authentically.
In my work with individuals, we often explore patterns rooted in early attachment experiences, helping you better understand how past relationships may be shaping your current sense of self. Whether you’re struggling with self-worth, overwhelmed by anxiety, or stuck in cycles of self-silencing, we’ll work together to build a deeper connection to your needs, boundaries, and inner strength.
I also truly love working with couples. Relationship dynamics are complex, and I find it incredibly meaningful to help partners rebuild trust, communicate more effectively, and restore emotional intimacy. My goal is to support both individuals in the relationship while honoring the shared bond between them.
If you’re ready to stop walking on eggshells, start honoring your voice, or reconnect more deeply—with yourself or a partner—I’d be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
