Stephanie Renny, M.A., LPC

Originally from a small town, Stephanie has embraced the Cincinnati community as her home to live, work, and play.

In addition to a master’s level education in clinical mental health counseling from Xavier University, Stephanie completed trainings in various aspects of multiculturalism, mindfulness, career development, and LGBTQ+ Allyship. She also received in-depth training in a partial hospitalization setting with intensive outpatient levels of care providing individual and group therapy.

With a background in ministry and student affairs at the collegiate level, Stephanie has always enjoyed helping others tell their story, explore their purpose, and discover their strengths. As a counselor, Stephanie infuses this approach with evidence-based and client-centered techniques in a supportive therapeutic space. Her clients enjoy her gentle, humorous, and collaborative style.

Approach and Client Focus

 

Predominantly working with adults, Stephanie is effective in developing skills and fostering healing for individuals navigating life transitions, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression, anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Stephanie has a special interest in hurdles faced by young adults including postpartum depression, relationship changes, pre-marital stress, identity confusion, career shifts, individuation from the family, and other family stressors.

To provide the highest quality of care for her clients, Stephanie is currently working towards certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
