Stephanie Renny, M.A., LPC
Originally from a small town, Stephanie has embraced the Cincinnati community as her home to live, work, and play.
In addition to a master’s level education in clinical mental health counseling from Xavier University, Stephanie received in-depth training in a partial hospitalization setting. Stephanie has completed training in various aspects of multiculturalism, mindfulness, career development, LGBTQ allyship, and the treatment of eating disorders. Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio.
With a background in ministry and student affairs at the collegiate level, Stephanie has always enjoyed helping others tell their story, explore their purpose, and discover their strengths. As a counselor, Stephanie infuses this approach with evidence-based and client-centered techniques in a supportive therapeutic space. Her clients enjoy her gentle, humorous, and collaborative style.
Approach and Client Focus
Predominantly working with adults, Stephanie is effective in developing skills and fostering healing for individuals navigating life transitions, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Stephanie has a special interest in hurdles faced by young adults including relationship changes, pre-marital stress, identity confusion, career shifts, and individuation from the family.
To provide the highest quality of care for her clients, Stephanie is currently working towards certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
Stephanie accepts CareSource and private pay for services.
Stephanie provides individual therapy and meal support both virtually and in the Anderson office.
